Tony started his career with considerable success in mortgage brokerage origination and management. After rapidly growing a small company into a regional market presence he was recruited by one of Chicagoland's largest banking institutions. Success here led to an opportunity to take over operations as Managing Broker of RE/MAX Synergy (previously RE/MAX South Suburban - one of the most productive real estate brokerages in Illinois history). During the market downturn of the great recession his unique and diverse experience allowed him to seize market opportunities overlooked by his competitors. These activities led to the substantial growth of the brokerage in a time when others were being forced out of the business.
Once he attained his goals in the brokerage business he recognized his true passion was in putting his knowledge and experience to use in the distressed asset (property rehabilitation and resale) market. The application of his market insight proved successful on numerous projects almost immediately. This experience garnered the attention of other home sellers and buyers and he quickly realized his true passion was in serving the general public. Since this time Tony has primarily concentrated his efforts on delivering the best real estate brokerage services available in the industry.
Tony has served as a Director to the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce, Real Estate Advisor to the Chicago Southland Economic Development Corporation, co-founder of the Chicago Southland Real Estate and Banking Council, and founder of a local BNI group. He has been a speaker for the Women's Council of Realtors, the Chicago Southland Real Estate and Banking Council, RE/MAX Northern Illinois, RE/MAX International, and the United States Chamber of Commerce. Real Trends magazine named him as one of the Top 500 Brokers in the United States for 2010 and he is named in the annual Power Broker Survey for 2010.
In his first full year of real estate sales he was honored with RE/MAX LLC prestigious 100% Club Award. By his second year he received the 100% Club Award as well as selling in the Top 1% of the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors for number of transactions in a year.
Tony has presided over thousands of transactions, consulted large and small banking institutions and municipalities, and personally invested in residential rehabilitation projects throughout Chicagoland. He welcomes the opportunity to assist you in whatever real estate needs you may have.
